I’m a fitness professional with an incredible joy of cycling. Bikes are what got me into my current profession, a career change for me from municipal government, and helped me lose nearly 100 pounds and control my autoimmune disease.Number of years cycling: 7
Proudest moment on or off the bike: On the bike – Scoring my first place podium finish in triathlon. Off the bike – graduating with a degree in Exercise Science after going back to school at the age of 35.
Weirdest post-ride craving: Hmmmm….I don’t think I have an “weird” cravings. After rides I usually have something like a protein on a salad along with a sweet potato or plantain chips (I’m on a very strict doctor prescribed autoimmune protocol).
What is your spirit animal? The mountain lion
Where to find me rocking Moxie Cycling: Leading my weekly group rides from the bike shop, teaching spin class, and (sadly) out and about on crutches with a knee injury as the pockets are great for carrying things since my hands are full yet still looking stylish and cute as a personal trainer 🙂
Next challenge: Completing my first century – my longest ride is 85 miles.
