What we love this week // Just Coffee Cooperative’s “Bike Fuel”

You'll be biking in no time

Hailing from the midwest and having a steadfast coffee addiction, I perhaps am biased towards Just Coffee, although I can’t seem to find a reason why anyone would dislike the fair trade organic coffee cooperative that calls Madison, Wisconsin it’s home. In their own words, “Just Coffee Cooperative is a worker-owned coffee roaster dedicated to creating and expanding a model of trade based on transparency, equality, and human dignity. We strive to build long-term relationships with small-scale coffee growers to bring you a truly incredible cup of coffee.” And indeed, that is what you get when brewing up a pot of Just Coffee’s Bike Fuel.

If you like a cup of coffee you can rely on to give you that first push to keep you cruising for the day, this is a great choice. The mix of bold Super Dark Mexican beans blended with a sublter Bolivan, this coffee is the right balance of  java jolt and smooth, smoky flavor. And we have to be honest, the artwork for Bike Fuel is pretty stellar.

Not to mention, Just Coffee delivers all local orders via bike. That’s right, “We do this because it is low-impact on the environment and because, frankly, it is fun.” They also support local cycling events such as the popular Bike the Barns, an annual ride in their 6th year that fundraises for community benefit. Here at Moxie, we definitely suggest you give Just Coffee Coop beans a try, but if that isn’t your ‘cup of joe,’ you can get more information on the 2012 Bike the Barns by clicking HERE.

Stay Sassy…
